My disdain for America has grown considerably.  I cannot stand, absolutely cannot stand the whitewashing, plain-polishing this country is receiving.  Here are the two newest chunks of hatred added to my fire:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/p>\n<li>Guy Ritchie, director of such entertaining movies as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and BMW&#8217;s The Hire, directed a cute commercial for the upcoming Corvette.  It shows a young boy dreaming about the car, flying (literally flying) it across playgrounds, schools, etc and then driving spiritedly through a downtown environment.  It is obviously not realistic as the car flies, does a 360 through a drainage pipe, etc.  Seven different groups have protested the commercial explaining that the commercial encourages children to recklessly drive cars.  <a href=\"http:\/\/autoweek.com\/news.cms?newsId=100700\">AutoWeek<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.nasioc.com\/forums\/showthread.php?t=619480\">Nabisco<\/a> complained about the complainers.  You can see the commercial <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vette-net.com\/\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<li>I don&#8217;t even want to talk about this one.  Teachers are now using purple ink instead of red ink when correcting homework because <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtontimes.com\/upi-breaking\/20040823-050133-8251r.htm\">red is &#8220;scary&#8221;<\/a>.  <\/ul>\n<p>People, do me a favor and die in a fire.<br \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GRRAARRRGGGHH.
