Here is a quick recipe for cheesy bread I just whipped up:<\/p>\n<p>Cheesy Texas Bread<\/p>\n<p>Preparation time: 5 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 8 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>Texas toast, sliced thick (3 slices)<\/p>\n<p>Shredded mozzarella or sharp cheddar cheese (1 cup)<\/p>\n<p>Grated parmesan cheese (3 tablespoons)<\/p>\n<p>Butter<\/p>\n<p>Garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>Italian seasoning<\/p>\n<p>Red pepper flakes<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>1)  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>2)  Lightly butter the bread.<\/p>\n<p>3)  Sprinkle a tablespoon of parmesan onto the buttered side of each slice.<\/p>\n<p>4)  Season with garlic powder, italian seasoning and red pepper flakes to taste.<\/p>\n<p>5)  Cover each slice with 1\/3rd cup of shredded cheese.<\/p>\n<p>6)  Place onto an ungreased cookie sheet.<\/p>\n<p>7)  Cook for 8 minutes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Texas toast does not taste like ass.
