They shared articles rippping into each other:  The Daily published this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pub.umich.edu\/daily\/2000\/oct\/10-20-2000\/sports\/02.html\">rebuttal<\/a> to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pub.umich.edu\/daily\/2000\/oct\/10-10-2000\/edit\/04.html\">Erin McQuinn article from October 10th<\/a>.  Snews published <a href=\"http:\/\/www.statenews.com\/article.phtml?pk=621\">this article putting down Spartan tradition<\/a>.  In contrast, Snews also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.statenews.com\/article.phtml?pk=614\">created a beautiful image of Ann Arbor and the culture<\/a>, comparing it to a small European city.
