Why?  It sounds cool.<br \/>\n<br \/>Conduit: con\u00c2\u00b7duit (n.)  A means by which something is transmitted<\/p>\n<p>The word of the day is used in the song Get Off by Bad Religion:<\/p>\n<p>Lascivious, it&#8217;s all that I can think of as I drag my feet,<br \/>\n<br \/>searching like a diogenes,<br \/>\n<br \/>dangerous, the adjectives of the decade<br \/>\n<br \/>and of your alluring intricacies,<br \/>\n<br \/>I can see your green-screen mentality<br \/>\n<br \/>and I can feel the sting of it&#8217;s consequence,<br \/>\n<br \/>and I know I shouldn&#8217;t<br \/>\n<br \/>but it&#8217;s too much to ignore, an emotion I deplore,<br \/>\n<br \/>every time I look at you,<br \/>\n<br \/>I just want do it,<br \/>\n<br \/>I can clench my fist right through it<br \/>\n<br \/>but I just want to get off<\/p>\n<p>rectilinear, this direction we&#8217;ve been heading<br \/>\n<br \/>never realizing we are on a runaway machine,<br \/>\n<br \/>angular, the momentum that does turn us one<br \/>\n<br \/>step further on our ladder,<br \/>\n<br \/>one more turn toward the east,<br \/>\n<br \/>I realize your green-screen mentality<br \/>\n<br \/>and I know it is shared by many more,<br \/>\n<br \/>I know it&#8217;s quite impossible<br \/>\n<br \/>but I am damned to find a way to revolve the other way,<br \/>\n<br \/>every time I scrutinize I just say &#8220;screw it&#8221;,<br \/>\n<br \/>we&#8217;re on a ride down a blind <b>conduit<\/b><br \/>\n<br \/>and I just want to get off<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The word of the day is conduit.
